Barnes is located 5 miles
South West of Central London on the river Thames. It has an attractive
village atmosphere yet is very conveniently placed for sightseeing
around London.
Mainline tubes can be reached by a short bus ride, either to Hammersmith or Putney. Alternatively,
the British Rail station is a five minute walk away, with connections
to Waterloo and Paddington.
Local attractions include the Wildlife Wetland Centre,
Richmond Park and various sports facilities. There are a number
of excellent restaurants and pubs within walking distance.
We are ideally placed for Wimbledon
tennis and the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race. Twickenham
rugby ground is a fifteen minute drive away.
